Map S.10.3     Deutsches Reich. Reichstagswahlen vom 25. Januar 1907

This stylized map shows all 397 Reichstag constituencies and the party affiliation of the deputies elected in the main election of 25 January 1907 or in a run-off contest. The smaller square in the bottom left corner of some squares represents the party affiliation of the losing candidate when a run-off election was necessary. In central Germany, the Kingdom of Saxony’s 23 Reichstag constituencies are designated with the abbreviation “Sa.” followed by the constituency number. As one can see, run-offs were required in 8 Saxon constituencies, and the Social Democratic candidate was defeated in each one.
